The drought in Puntland State of Somalia is worsening and the livestock 70% of the population lived on started dying. The nomads are starving and streaming towards the urban centers. Puntland Administration doesn’t have the capability to come to the rescue of the victims.
Shafshafo is participating in contributing to water-tracking of the worst areas affected. The price of the loads of the water tanker skyrocketed and very few of the nomads can afford to buy it.
