Somali Drought Played Havoc (Jan. 2017) The Somali drought played havoc on the very core of the Somali economy – the livestock. The Somali nomads whose life depends on the produce of their animals lost more than half of their livestock. The unstable Somali government could not come the rescue of the victims.
